We survived our first Christmas! It started on Saturday with Matthew's side of the family, and ended with my family on Monday and Tuesday. We had a blast getting together with everyone, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't fun showing the little man off. He did really well this year being passed around like a hot potato. Truth be told he slept through most of it.
I, on the other hand, got a new perspective on the holiday season. I look at a lot of things differently now that I am a parent, and you can add Christmas to that growing list. Not that I am wishing the years away, but I am looking forward to the excitement on his face as he opens each gift...as for now we open them for him and thank the giver as he sleeps:)
